Rivals

I see you.
Skulking in the shadows.
Circling me with your darkness clockwise.
I walk my spiral lit path.
There is no balance in our bleak dance.
I am faster and stronger,
but you are so brazen.
Demanding we share this feeding ground.
Our blood thirst still holds.
How could we be anything but monsters.
Our kisses are red and sticky.
Come closer.
This ship is not big enough for two predators.
The passengers are not a big enough flock.
I twirl on my many skirts.
While you charm.
Winner takes all,
And I need buckets of blood to keep me satisfied.
I will resort to cannibalism.
