Queenie: An InferniTech LARP Story Part 1

The succubus left one plane, and hopped another. The golden gate she used was beginning to tire. The plane hopping bird like creature would not last many hops. The succubus was killing it with the effort. This wasn’t working. She knew it wasn’t working. Her lovers were killed, and hopping from plane to plane would not produce another copy of those lovers. No way to rescue them. The succubus looked around. She was at a grubby gas station. Faded posters for the Gattakat corporation barely clung to the walls. At least Gattakat’s influence had stretched to this plane. The ones lacking the company had an uptick of ugly people.

“Focus, Queenie!” The succubus told herself. Queenie the succubus looked around. No people. She sighed heavily, and spread her leathery

wings. Clutching the golden gate bird. Queenie took off. Her heavy frame hurtled through the air as she flapped her wings. Then she caught a current, and glided over the abandoned little town. What a waste of a plane jump, she thought. The golden gate took that moment to crumple up in Queenie’s arms and die. Wonderful, thought Queenie. She was stuck here.

Queenie landed in the cracked street. The homes were crumbling in on themselves. She had landed herself in a dead plane. A pang of hopelessness threatened to throttle her. Queenie swallowed it down, but it returned with burning fervor. A chill rippled through the succubus’s skin, and she knew her night had just gotten worse.

“There is no-”

“Oh Fuck you!” Queenie spat as she turned. One of Queenie’s eyes locked with the dead ones of her former lover. He was beautiful once. A deliciously scared hacker with sheets of dark glossy hair. His almond eyes, once bright like a beetle's exoskeleton were now dulled, and dead. Below that the skin had been peeled away revealing rotting bone. “What do you want?”

“There is no separation. Only unity in the dark.” From his boney fingers materialised wet looking black daggers. The shade had magic. Fantastic. “You are separate. That is not allowed. Poeah demands unity in the blood.”

“Unity in the blood… Hm,” Queenie reached for the power, and grunted as thick black claws ripped through her fingertips. She reached for the halved skull she wore perched on her scalp, and pulled it down over her beautiful face.“A bitch can’t.”

Queenie launched herself towards the shade with claws brandished to maim. The shade braced for impact. Queenie roared as she collided with the shade. Her claws sinking deep into… nothing. The shade faded into shadow. Queenie swung wildly with her claws through the black smoke. Pain bit into her shoulder.

“There is no pain. Only devotion.”

Queenie whirled around. Her claws hungry for rotting flesh. Her hand came back bloodied with fetid icore. Then Queenie dived into a role. The tip of the dagger ripped at the hem of the skimpy black dress Queenie stretched over her fat flesh. Yet another tear in her enticing garment. Fire threatened to engulf Queenie’s insides

. She brought her wings back ,and swept them forward forcefully. The smoke wouldn’t clear, but they did collide with something sollid. Queenie reached out and snagged the shade by his bony throat.

“You were never really good at foreplay,” Queenie said as she propelled them upwards out of the shadow. “Let me show you how it is supposed to hurt, Sweetheart.”

Queenie flew towards the nearest abandoned building, smashed the shade face first into the wall, and flapped her wings as furiously as possible. She would drag him all over this dead fucking plane if she had to!

Pain exploded in Queenies guts. She looked down tosee the black dagger dug deep in her chubby middle. Queenie roared and pushed the shade's face harder against the building. Her former lover twisted the blade and together they fell.
