Hi. you might be new to witchcraft and this is something I wish I was told when I was new too. When I was a baby witch I was told you had to use sage to cleanse a space of negative energy, but there are so many alternatives to sage that are free, or for the most part free. Here are five of them.
1
Bells: Ringing bells in the home clears it of negative energy. An easy way of doing this is with wind chimes, and putting jingly decor on your front door. You can also walk through your space ringing bells as needed, and/or before a big ritual. When cleansing a house I like to go counter clockwise starting at the front door, and ending at an open front door to shove the bad energy out like the little shit it is.
2
Salt and water: Take a bowl, a handful of salt (whatever feels right for you), and some water. Next mix until the salt dissolves completely. Now dip your fingers in the salt water and flick that shit all over. Make sure you get the corners. Negativity loves a good corner. Again I like to go counter clockwise.
3
Burn cinnamon: Take a lighter or a match to that cinnamon stick, an
d go around your house counter clockwise.
4
A pot and wooden spoon:Bang those together, and shoo out the negative energy. It’s fun, and you get out your frustrations.
5
Burn dried lemon peel: Burn it, open the windows, and have a say something hat day.
Witchcraft was never meant to be expensive. There will always be cheap or free alternatives for spell work. It is possible to do most, if not all of your spells with no components at all.
